The Manufacturing Leadership Council's Global Vice President of Research and Editorial Director, David R. Brousell, will deliver the opening session on “The Smart Factory” at the 2nd Annual Smart Factory World Symposium organized by Forcam, on June 2, 2016 in Chicago, IL.
Immediately after, Jacob Goodwin, Director of Membership Engagement at the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII), which is hosting the event, will deliver a keynote presentation on "The State of Manufacturing & the Role of the DMDII".
The DMDII, which addresses the life cycle of digital data interchanged among a myriad of design, engineering, manufacturing and maintenance systems, aims to help small, medium and large manufacturing organizations to embrace Smart Factory strategies and make the transition to Manufacturing 4.0.
